For Schools

Theatre isn’t just an incredible way to introduce students to the arts and live performance. Theatre also builds skills that students can take with them into the rest of their education and lives outside of school.

All of our programming can be easily adapted to fit your needs and can take place at your school or at our theatre!

After School Programs:

We offer two after school options:

  • Improvisation 101: Students learn the basics of improv, the power of “Yes, and,” how to collaboratively tell stories, and most of all have fun!

  • Create-a-Play: Students work with a playwright-director, and use improv to create, write, and produce a short play. This can be after school or in the classroom.

In-Class Workshops/Residencies:

Our classroom program provides you with an arts educator who works with the classroom teacher to bring improv and theatre into the classroom or to enhance ongoing curriculums. In-class residencies are designed to integrate with classroom curriculum and can consist of a single workshop or multiple weeks. Any of our after school programs can be adapted into in-class residencies.

Assembly Performances:

We have two options to meet your assembly needs:

Wowie Zowie (Grades K-5): Bring our kids show, Wowie Zowie, to your school. This interactive show combines the magic of improv with creative play to deliver 45 minutes of fabulous theatre.

Spitball (Grades 6-12): Students create the show they want to see and and along with our improvisers, bring all new stories come to life. There are opportunities to be on stage, make suggestions and most importantly - laugh.

High School Improv Curriculum:

We send you the curriculum, you bring it to life! Our improv curriculum teaches students the value of collaboration, confidence, and valuing others’ ideas in a fun, game-based environment. It’s not just a great break from lectures and homework; our improv outreach program conforms to ELA/GASE and Theatre Arts GPS standards, complete with relevant codes for each week so you can make it a part of your regular lesson plans. Our curriculum includes 10 weeks of curriculum with an instructional video for each week.
