Accessibility & ASL Interpretation

ADA Accessibility

Our theatre complies with the standards set by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Both levels of Dad's Garage are ADA-accessible. Two entrances on our top level (where our main stage is) have ramp access, and the sidewalks leading into our main floor (where our lobby stage and bar is) also have wheelchair-accessible entries. We also have an elevator to assist patrons between each floor. ADA-accessible restrooms are located on both floors.

ADA PARKING AND ACCESS

Handicap-permit parking (with enough clearance for a van equipped for wheelchair access) is available in the lot behind our building. After turning onto Bradley Street from Edgewood Avenue, make a left into the driveway behind Dad's Garage (instead of making a right into our big parking lot), and you will see the ADA-compliant spaces immediately after turning into the lot. Ramp access into the upper level of the building is near these spaces. The distance between our accessible parking spaces and patron seating is approximately 50 feet.

Visitors with accessibility needs can be seated early. If you require early seating or assistance entering the theatre from the parking lot, please email to housemanager@dadsgarage.com after buying your tickets.

ASL INTERPRETATION AND ASSISTED LISTENING

American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation is offered at no extra cost for select performances throughout our season. To request ASL interpretation of a specific date, please contact housemanager@dadsgarage.com.

Please allow at least 90 days for your request, as interpreters need advance booking.
Assisted listening devices are available at the box office for patrons—simply leave a note during online checkout letting us know you would like to use them.
