Karen Cassady

Karen is a freelance artist and improviser in Atlanta, Georgia, who performs mainly at Dad's Garage Theatre Company. She is an ensemble member and teacher at Dad’s Garage and has called it her theatre home for the last 12 years.

She has been teaching improv for the past 10 years at various places including The Actor’s Scene, Dad’s Garage, Portfolio Center, Piedmont School of Atlanta, and others. One of her teaching highlights was when she had the honor of being an improv coach for 3 consecutive years at Improv Camp in Vancouver, Canada. She has also coached several improv teams around Atlanta.

This will be her first time teaching for the summer camp at Dad’s Garage and she could not be more excited to share her love of improvisation.
