Whether you want to break into improv as a performer, improve your public speaking skills, boost your confidence in business situations or just meet new people and have fun, our improv classes are a perfect place to get started!
Our 8-week sessions teach you the power of saying “yes,” turning your connections with your fellow classmates into improvised magic!
In levels 1-4 you’ll learn the basics and not-so-basics of short form narrative scenework, including the ins and out of the improv juggernaut Theatresports. Plus, you get free tickets to most Dad’s Garage shows, and an opportunity to jump on stage every week at our Student Mixer shows.
- Professional Developement - Public Speaking - Team Work - Listening Skills - Thinking on your feet
Classes are $235 per 8-week session and meet from 7-9 once a week. Evenings offered depend on level, but classes are held every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.
NOTE: Please don't just sign up for the level you think you're best for. Classes must be completed in order starting with level 1. If you would like to talk about previous experience please email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Oh, and if you’re looking to get in on the cheap, we offer credit for volunteering on our lobby staff for shows! It’s a fun way to see shows for free and hang out with the whole Dad’s Garage family (and yeah, probably take out the trash.)
We also offer some more specific sessions from time to time, which have included:
Sketch Writing: Our experienced writing team helps you craft and perfect your own original short sketches, including a live showcase reading.
Improv for Actors: Learn how improv can enhance your on-camera and stage performance and add yet another special skill to that resume!
