Teen And Kids Year Round Improv Program
The year-round improv program is for kids (8-13) and teens (mature 13-17) who are interested in putting in the hard work it takes to command the stage. The program will focus on the elements of ensemble magic, the variety of skills involved in great improv and communication, and will start you on the path to becoming one of the improvisers that you see on the Dad's Garage stage. Ensemble members participate in classes throughout the year and prepare for a variety of performance opportunities. Dad's Garage is excited about working towards the future of our theatre with helping to creatively guide the next generation of improv performers.
How do you get involved?
Audition cycles are every 6 months for each group where space allows. Auditions are required. For your audition, you'll have up to 5 minutes to do anything that you'd like. Anything goes, just be yourself and if you're a singer, feel free to throw a song into the mix.
