Whittney graduated with her B.A. in Theatre Arts from LaGrange College in 2008 and then headed straight for the A! Her first peek into the Atlanta theatre community was with Actor’s Express, where she was an intern for the 2008-2009 season. Whittney was working with Steve Yockey, the writer of her AE intern showcase, when he mentioned that a show of his, Large Animal Games, had been picked up by Dad’s Garage. Yockey recommended Whittney for the 2009 show, which brought her to Dad’s, where she fell in love with the company and they haven’t been able to get rid of her yet! She became part of the first ever Dad’s Rookie program in 2010 and then moved into the General Company in 2011. Whittney is also an ensemble member of Automatic Improv, performs at Agatha’s downtown, and is always getting involved with various projects that interest and challenge her. Cheers to the Arts of ATL!
