Matthew Terrell works as a writer, photographer, and media professional in the fine city of Atlanta. After completing his MFA in writing, Matthew went on a cross-country adventure documenting drag queens vital to creating communities of queer acceptance. His stories of love, loss, and lashes from the drag scene landed him the role as a Huffington Post Blogger; this work is funded by a grant from Idea Capital. The strange world of drag publicity perfectly prepared him for the role of communications director for Dad’s Garage; today he talks to journalists about comedy instead of cross dressing. Matthew loves his beard and hairy legs so much that he will probably never get to become a drag queen.
