Have you been feeling kind of glum? Do you want to get your laugh on? Are your spring allergies so bad that you simply cannot risk being exposed to the elements? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then come on down to Dad’s Garage, where we are hosting the Atlanta Film Festival comedy films. From April 15 through April 17 we are being (willingly) commandeered by films about mothers, time travel, and the meaning of life, to name a few. What do all of these films have in common? Comedy! Test your ab muscles and maybe shed a tear or two as you share the beautiful gift of comedy with total strangers in a dark theatre.
We have THREE different showings of work by us fine folks at Dad’s Garage on Monday, April 16 at 8 pm! Head over to watch the first public screening of our new television pilot, "Weird City," which is an offbeat travel show some of our performers have put together. Laugh along with a new short film by DGTV produced in collaboration with the Spotlight program (a nonprofit working with special needs actors) that has lots of heart and some awesome floor hockey. Finally, the screening will give a sneak peak at a new web series set behind the scenes of the theatre itself, "The Garage." And all of that is FREE with an RSVP. Because we love you, and Mondays are hard.
