The Plot

You don’t know the plot of A Christmas Carol? Oh, boy…

The setting: London, England sometime in the 1840s (unless the invader insists otherwise.)

Crotchety Ebenezer Scrooge, the wealthy and miserly owner of counting house Scrooge & Marley, hates Christmas and houses a deep antipathy for the plight of his fellow man. On the night of Christmas Eve, the ghost of his deceased business partner, Jacob Marley, appears in his home with a warning: Scrooge will be visited this night by three more ghosts. He must change his ways, or haunt this world in a state of eternal suffering forever in the afterlife.

But in Invasion: Christmas Carol, another interloper changes the story before Jacob Marley or the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet-to-Come arrive on the scene.

This mystery invader steps into Scrooge’s counting house with an offer and heretofore unknown connection that Scrooge—and everyone who has and will ever know him—cannot refuse!
