Dad's Garage Theatre Company, a nationally renowned and extremely distinctive improv theatre in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a uniquely qualified Artistic Director. Candidates must have experience working and managing in a busy, diverse and fast-paced theatre. An average year consists of 25 productions, including 7 plays, 52 weeks of improv, a season of puppet-theater for kids, events, workshops, education, and more. The AD will be reporting to the Board of Directors and will be responsible for providing leadership and vision to ensure that the organization achieves its mission, realizes its goals for artistic excellence and education, and works in partnership with the Managing Director on fundraising, effective marketing, and comprehensive community outreach. The AD is responsible for overall artistic direction, production supervision, artistic personnel selection, and artistic programming of the theatre. Strong improvisation comedy experience is necessary, as well as experience directing, producing and creating original works and other theatrical productions.
