DESCRIPTION:
Four More Beers Event: See "44 Plays for 44 Presidents" on Election Night at 8pm and then hang out with us and watch election coverage on the big screen from 10:30 - midnight. Grab a few beers and laugh (or cry - depending on who's winning) with our improvisers until midnight as we watch the results come in.
44 Plays for 44 Presidents: Like the title suggests, this show jam packs a whole bunch of short plays (one about each U.S. president) into a 2-hour show. You'll laugh the whole time and then realize you actually learned stuff! (We're tricky like that.) Join in Nixon's rousing chorus of "We Love Dick!" Cower in fear as Andrew Jackson assaults the rich with his merry jug band! Strain to hear Silent Cal say anything at all! And just try not to succumb to the raw sensuality of Bill Clinton!
Directed by: Alison Hastings & Matt Horgan
Written by: Andy Bayiates, Sean Benjamin, Genevra Gallo-Bayiates, Chloe Johnston, and Karen Weinberg
Starring: Karen Cassady, Rene Dellefont, Perry Frost, Chris Rittelmeyer, and Tom Rittenhouse
Live banjo: played by David Stephens
Length: This show will last approximately one and a half hours with a 15 minute intermission.
Age Appropriateness: This is closer to PG-13 than most of our shows, but please be warned - there are a few curse words and a lady that strips down to her tank top and panties in this one. Hooray America!
ELECTION COVERAGE: Starting at 10:30, we'll pull up the incoming election results on our big screen while our improvisers do what they do best - make fun of people. We'll be watching and roasting everything from FOX News to Wolf Blitzer, while keeping our bar open, of course. We'll be here at least until midnight -- possibly longer depending on how things go!
